Concrete Sinks

Our Only Limit is the Imagination

One of the first things I fell in love with about concrete, was the fact that I could make concrete sinks. This was back in 2010, and sine then I’ve been making show-stopping sinks for clients all over the world.Below you’ll find some photos of our favorite sink projects, as well as information and commonly asked questions about owning a concrete sink. When you’re ready, give us a call to get yours started.

It’s not difficult to see why people are turning to concrete for their bathroom sinks:

  • it can be sculpted into nearly any shape,
  • no length is unreasonable while maintaining a seam-free surface,
  • unlimited colors choices,
  • concrete sink options to fit in with just about any decor style
  • and with GFRC, we can make an 8 inch thick sink that doesn’t weigh a million pounds!

Concrete Sink Shapes

At Béton Studio, we pride ourselves at being able to offer all of this hand-crafted customization for concrete sinks for our clients.  We can sculpt your sink with any of our standard sink options. If none of those standard options float your boat and you prefer a more customized approach, we can dig into our bag of tricks and create a one-of-a-kind personalized sink utilizing old school techniques like pulling plaster, fabric forming or more advanced methods like the latest cnc router technology. If you dream it, we can shape it and your new sink will be the center piece of your bathroom.

How Long Can You Make Concrete Sinks?

Long seamless spans are another highlight of using concrete. Although most Florida homes will stick with the standard single or double vanity, we can also create commercial concrete sink options with 3 or more sinks in a single piece. So far, we have built up to 12 foot long double vanities, but we have a couple in the pipeline that are around 16 feet long!

What Colors Can You Create?

As far as color choices are concerned, we have a standard range of greys, blacks, and whites which we are particularly fond of and lend themselves very well to sinks. However, we also have the ability to color match most Benjamin Moore colors. We offer two finishes: A vapor finish which creates a gorgeous finish with lots of movement and variation and a cream finish which is monotone with subtle color variations throughout the piece.

What Styles Does Concrete Complement?

Many people think of concrete in an ultra modern or industrial setting. It definitely lends itself to those decor styles, but it also can be made to be perfectly at home in traditional, mediterranean, tropical, or even asian style interiors. The style of the sink and choice of color really sets the style of the concrete, and did I mention how many options we offer?!

Big Style, Light Weight

Finally, the thickness of the concrete sink can be anything you desire without any worries about the overall weight or needing to reinforce cabinetry. GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) allows us to make lighter yet stronger pieces that will endure a lifetime of use. If you questions or ideas, give us a call and we’ll gladly go into even more detail about the the options that await you in this awesome realm of concrete.
