A few months ago, we were contacted by the fabulous Charlie Schiller to discuss a new project she was working on. She and the owner of Bay Cannon Beer Company came by the studio to discuss options and select finishes. We landed on a custom edge profile to make the countertops really unique.

For the edge profile, we made a metal profile of the shape we wanted and used that to create the shape in plaster. After the plaster had set, we applied several coats of release agent and cut it to the shape of the bar. At the last minute, we decided to cut out a relief of Bay Cannon’s logo and inset that into the corners at each end of the bar.
